I haven't blogged for a while! It's been a busy summer. But here we are at the start of September, and the teacher in me still feels like it's a brand new year, despite not returning to the classroom for the third year! I'm determined to blog more regularly this year, starting with a few updates from a rather busy summer.
Gill was given one of my vouchers for a Christmas present last year, but understandably saved it until the summer months to use. She has twin daughters, and each of them has a family of her own, so it was quite a crowd I met down at the local park one lovely summer's evening at the end of July. They were really up for a laugh, so as well as the more formal poses of all of them together, we tried climbing trees, balancing on bridges and jumping off benches. My favourite is on the right. After many shots of the teenagers/children jumping off together (and a slight problem with a rising skirt) I decided to get the adults to do the jumping while the kids watched in disbelief. I was pleased with the result, as were they!
We also enjoyed messing around with a photo frame, and with a pit of photo-shopping afterwards, they were also very pleased with this one.
All in all a fun evening.
And now it's September I'm starting my Christmas voucher campaign again pretty soon, so if you know of a family who would just love a photo shoot as a Christmas present, give me a shout!
